“Fiction can actually offer you a genuine escape from a bad place and in the process of escaping, it can furnish you with armor, with knowledge, with weapons, with tools you can take back in your life to help make it better. It’s a real escape and when you come back, you come back better-armed than when you left.” – Neil Gaiman
I absolutely loved these lines by Neil Gaiman. For me, reading fiction is a real get away from the terrible life situations and bad people. It’s my runoff from all the overthinking I might do if not reading, from all the stress, the anxiety I face from things around me. Reading does help me to sneak away from my own life to another place which may or may not be beautiful but will hold on to me so not to leave.
Well, on a good note. It’s’s June! I can’t believe, the sixth month of the year is already on a roll. Life is been a little crazy. But I have some amazing list of books which I’m gonna start in June and hopefully will complete them in this month only. Will show you guys next week.
How is life treating you? Do you also read to escape?

I love that quote as well. Truer words were never spoken. This is exactly what reading is and has been for me my entire life. Thanks for sharing!
