Lovestruck is a recount of Kaatyaani’s life where she is unhappily married to Hemant and finds love outside her marriage in Siddharth. The story moves forward with a boring plot where Kaatyaani though very much love in Siddharth decides not to ditch her husband. Somehow, her husband was having an affair with his boss and choose to divorce her for another woman.

The only thing I learned about Kaatyaani that she loves crying more than anything else. She could be seen doing this in half of the book. Neither I liked her character nor felt good reading about her. And so was same with both of the male characters in the book.

The plot has been very badly turned up with nothing new in the story. Language is the weakest part of the book where it works as a restraint for further reading and furthermore, I hated the choice of words used by the author especially while describing her tempting feelings.

Before going to publication, the author should have worked more on the story and the language, the book may not have turned into disappointment as it is now.

Many times, while reading I felt to DNF this book but somehow read it. I’m really disappointed.
